How do you plan a honeymoon safari in Tanzania?
Most couples spend 4 to 6 days on safari and then 4 to 5 days in Zanzibar. Flights link the parks and Arusha with the island, and we book them for you. Go in June to October for dry weather and clear skies at sundowner time, or in January and February for calving season and green plains. Honeymoon safaris cost about $500 to $1,500 or more per person per day. A 10-day trip with 5 days on safari and 5 in Zanzibar runs about $8,000 to $15,000 per couple, with private vehicles, lodges, flights and meals included.
